Production method	It is obtained by reacting octadecanol with hydrogen bromide. Heat the alcohol to 100 ℃, introduce dry hydrogen bromide, and maintain the reaction temperature at 100-120 ℃ until the solution no longer absorbs hydrogen bromide. Bromide layering, take organic phase and wash with concentrated sulfuric acid. After separating the acid solution, mix the bromide with an equal volume of 90% methanol. Wash with ammonia water to make the bromide alkaline, then wash with 90% methanol and dry with anhydrous calcium chloride. Finally, by vacuum distillation, the finished product is obtained by collecting the fraction at temperatures ranging from 209 to 211 ℃ (1.33 kPa), with a yield of 90%.
